Sandbox Overview
Sandbox is Startbutton's test environment — fully isolated from production, sharing the same base URL but never mixing data between the two.
By default, your sandbox account comes with two currency wallets enabled. Need to test with additional currencies? Reach out to support@startbutton.africa to have more enabled.
Use your sandbox keys with our dedicated test numbers to simulate different outcomes before going live:
Moving to Live: Once you’re satisfied with your sandbox testing, you can start the KYC process using the banner on your dashboard. You won’t be able to switch to the live environment until your KYC has been approved.
Once approved, use the toggle on the right side of your dashboard to switch between Sandbox and Live. Please note that your Live API keys are different from your Sandbox keys, so always ensure you’re using the correct keys for the environment you’re working in.
